Timings:- From 1st November to 31st March Holyrood Palace is open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Last entry at 3:15pm.- From 1st April to 31st October the Palace is open from 9:30 am to 6 pm. Last entry at 4:30 pm.

The Palace is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

By TrainIf you are traveling by train then you will need to get down at Edinburgh Waverley station which is just 15 minutes away from Holyrood Palace.

By BusYou will need to board Bus number 35 or 6 to reach Holyrood Palace. The bus stop is just a few minutes away. Open-top tour buses also ply this route so you can travel by these too.

By TramThe closest tram depot to the Palace is York Place which is about 20 minutes of walking distance.
